COTTAGE & CABINS

Your Hosts

Linda and Mick

We chose to live in Linda’s hometown of Mundulla for its welcoming community spirit, great location for business, and country lifestyle. Mundulla has been home for our family since 2005, when we moved into our owner built straw bale house. Mick’s hobby of building combined with Linda’s love of gardening over three years resulted in a sustainable, well insulated homestead.

With a passion for old homes, timber floors, tall ceilings, and potential for improvements we made a heartfelt decision to take on the challenge of another property. Having renovated a 1920’s bungalow in our earlier years and a coastal house recently, we know the ins and outs of bringing a house back to its glory. We love a challenge and keeping busy!

Over the next few years, we have a vision for improvements to Daisy Cottage and the three cabins, updating them with a fresh country style.

In our spare time….. we love to travel. From camping outback in a swag to enjoying quality bed and breakfasts, it’s the little special touches, the quiet bush settings, the comfortable beds, and the friendly hosts that make a trip memorable. It’s now our turn to create and share some unique touches with fellow travellers.

During the week you will find us processing Australian grown hemp seed into foods at our business Good Country Hemp, in Bordertown. (Hulled hemp seed, hemp seed oil, hemp protein powder, and hemp flour).
